2. Safety Information

- Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Generators produce carbon monoxide, an odorless, colorless gas that can kill you. Operate the generator outdoors only, far away from windows, doors, and vents. Never operate in an enclosed space.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Assembly
- Carefully remove the generator and all components from the packaging.
- Attach the wheels: Secure the 10-inch never-flat wheels to the frame using the provided hardware.
- Install the folding handle: Attach the handle to the generator frame. Ensure it can be securely locked in both the operating and folded positions.

3.2 Adding Engine Oil
The engine is shipped without oil. You must add the recommended engine oil before starting. Refer to the engine manual for specific oil type and capacity.
- Place the generator on a level surface.
- Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick.
- Slowly add the recommended oil until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
- Replace the oil fill cap/dipstick securely.

3.3 Adding Fuel
Use fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use E85 or mixed fuels.
- Ensure the generator is off and cool.
- Remove the fuel cap.
- Slowly add gasoline to the fuel tank, being careful not to overfill. Leave space for fuel expansion.
- Securely replace the fuel cap.
3.4 Connecting the Battery (for Electric Start)
The electric start feature requires a 12V-14AH battery (not included). Connect the battery according to the instructions in the engine manual, ensuring correct polarity.
4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe starting and operation of your generator.
4.1 Pre-Start Checklist
- Generator is on a level surface, outdoors, and away from structures.
- Engine oil level is correct.
- Fuel tank is filled.
- All electrical loads are disconnected from the generator.
- Grounding wire is properly connected.
4.2 Starting the Generator (Electric Start)
- Turn the fuel valve to the ON position.
- Move the choke lever to the FULL CHOKE position (if engine is cold).
- Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the START position. Hold until the engine starts.
- Once the engine starts, slowly move the choke lever to the RUN position.
- Allow the engine to run for a few minutes to warm up before connecting electrical loads.
