6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ozone generator.
6.1 Ozone Plate Cleaning and Replacement
The MA10K-PRO features an upgraded honeycomb ozone plate designed for a long service life of approximately 20,000 hours.

Figure 6.1: The long-lasting honeycomb ozone plate, responsible for ozone generation.
- Cleaning: Over time, dust and debris may accumulate on the ozone plate, reducing efficiency. Periodically, with the unit unplugged, carefully remove the ozone plate (refer to specific instructions in the full manual for removal) and clean it with a dry brush or a vacuum cleaner. Do not use water or liquid cleaners.
- Replacement: When ozone output significantly decreases, or after approximately 20,000 hours of use, the ozone plate may need replacement. Contact Airthereal customer service for replacement parts and detailed instructions.
6.2 Fan Cleaning
Ensure the rear fan grille remains clear of obstructions to maintain proper airflow. With the unit unplugged, use a soft brush or vacuum to remove any dust from the fan grille.

- Check if the timer knob is set to a duration or 'HOLD' position.
- Verify the power outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
- Low Ozone Output:
- The ozone plate may be dirty. Refer to Section 6.1 for cleaning instructions.
- The ozone plate may have reached the end of its service life and requires replacement.
- Ensure the fan grille is not obstructed, allowing for proper airflow.
- Unusual Noises:
- A slight sizzling sound and dim blue-purple glow are normal during operation, indicating corona discharge.
