4. Setup and Installation

These LED slim downlights are designed for simple installation and do not require a can. Spring-loaded brackets fit various ceiling types, including double drywall, single drywall, and soffit.

1. Prepare the Opening: Cut a 4-inch diameter hole in the ceiling at the desired location. Ensure there are no obstructions like joists or wires.
2. Insert Junction Box: Open the junction box cover. Insert the electrical supply wires into the junction box through one of the knockouts. Secure the wires using appropriate connectors (included push-on connectors are provided). Connect the black wire to black, white to white, and ground to ground. Close the junction box cover.
3. Connect Wires: Connect the male connector from the LED downlight to the female connector from the junction box. Ensure a secure connection.
4. Position and Secure: Gently push the spring-loaded clips on the sides of the downlight upwards. Insert the downlight into the ceiling hole. The clips will spring back down, securing the fixture flush against the ceiling.

5. Operating Instructions

Once installed and powered, your Sunco LED Recessed Ceiling Lights will illuminate. These lights are dimmable, allowing you to adjust the brightness to your preference.
