- Steaming Tips:
- For collars, cuffs, and hems, steam from the inside of the fabric.
- For stubborn wrinkles, pass the steamer over the area multiple times.
- Always allow the garment to cool and dry completely before wearing or storing to prevent re-wrinkling.
- The steamer is effective on various textiles including silk, lace, jeans, suits, jackets, curtains, carpets, tablecloths, and bedding.
- Finish Steaming:
When finished, release the steam button (if locked) and unplug the steamer from the power outlet. The automatic shut-off function will activate if the water tank runs empty.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your steamer.
- Empty Water Tank: After each use, always empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent mineral buildup.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Descaling: Depending on water hardness and frequency of use, descaling may be necessary. Fill the water tank with a mixture of 50% white vinegar and 50% distilled water. Run the steamer until half the solution is used, then turn it off and let it sit for 30 minutes. Finish steaming the remaining solution, then rinse the tank and run two full tanks of plain distilled water through the steamer to flush out any residue.
- Storage: Store the steamer in a cool, dry place. Ensure the water tank is empty before storage.
