5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert two (2) AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Pairing with Bulbs

To control your Lampaous GU10 LED bulbs, the remote control must be paired with them. Follow these steps:

1. Ensure the compatible Lampaous GU10 LED bulb(s) are installed and powered off at the main switch.
2. Turn on the main power switch for the bulb(s) you wish to pair.
3. Within 3 seconds of turning on the power, press and hold one of the group buttons (1, 2, 3, or 4) on the remote control.
4. If pairing is successful, the bulb(s) will flash three times.
5. Repeat this process for other bulbs, assigning them to different groups (1-4) as desired.
6. To unpair a bulb, follow the same steps but press the "Master ON" button instead of a group button. The bulb will flash five times to indicate unpairing.

6. Operating Instructions

Once paired, you can control your Lampaous GU10 LED bulbs using the remote control:

• Master ON/OFF: Press the Master ON button to turn all paired bulbs on. Press the Master OFF button to turn all paired bulbs off.
• Group ON/OFF: Press the ON button for a specific group (1, 2, 3, or 4) to turn on only the bulbs in that group. Press the corresponding OFF button to turn them off.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use the Brightness + button to increase brightness and the Brightness - button to decrease brightness. This applies to the currently selected group or all groups if no specific group is selected.
• Color Temperature Adjustment: Use the Color Temperature + button to shift towards cooler white (6500K) and the Color Temperature - button to shift towards warmer white (3000K). This applies to the currently selected group or all groups if no specific group is selected.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
