Setup
1. Unpacking and Placement:
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Place the main unit on a stable, level surface away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
2. Connecting the Speakers:
- Connect the speaker wires from the included shelf speakers to the corresponding speaker terminals on the rear of the main unit. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
3. Power Connection:
- Plug the power adapter into the AC power input on the rear of the unit.
- Plug the other end of the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
4. Initial Power On:
- Press the Power button on the front panel or remote control to turn on the unit.
- The LCD display will illuminate.
Operating Instructions
1. Turntable Operation:
- Lift the dust cover.
- Place a vinyl record on the platter.
- Select the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the speed selector switch. For 45 RPM records, place the included 45 RPM adapter on the spindle.
- Move the tone arm to the desired position on the record. The platter will begin to spin automatically.
- Lower the tone arm gently onto the record.
- Adjust the volume using the volume knob.
- To stop playback, lift the tone arm and return it to its rest. The platter will stop spinning.
2. CD Player Operation:
- Press the CD/USB/SD button to select CD mode.
- Press the Eject button to open the CD tray.
- Place a CD with the label side up into the tray.
- Press the Eject button again to close the tray. The unit will read the CD and begin playback automatically.
- Use the Play/Pause, Stop, Skip Forward, and Skip Backward buttons for control.
3. Cassette Player Operation:
- Press the Cassette button to select Cassette mode.
- Open the door of Deck A or Deck B.
- Insert a cassette tape with the open edge facing upwards.
- Close the cassette door.
- Press the Play button on the desired deck to begin playback.
- Use the Fast Forward, Rewind, Stop, and Pause buttons for control.
4. Bluetooth Operation:
- Press the Bluetooth button to select Bluetooth mode. The LCD display will show "BT" and flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- Enable Bluetooth on your external device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) and search for "Trexonic".
- Select "Trexonic" from the list of available devices to pair. Once connected, the "BT" indicator will stop flashing.
- Begin playing audio on your external device. The sound will be output through the Trexonic system.
5. FM Radio Operation:
- Press the FM button to select FM Radio mode.
- Press the Tuner Scan button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
- Use the Skip Forward/Backward buttons to navigate through saved stations or manually tune.
6. USB/SD Playback:
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot.
- Press the CD/USB/SD button to select USB or SD mode. The unit will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files (MP3).
- Use the Play/Pause, Stop, Skip Forward, and Skip Backward buttons for control.
7. Recording Functions (Encoding):
The Trexonic system allows direct recording from Turntable, CD, Cassette, AUX Input, and FM Radio to USB or SD card in MP3 format. You can also record to cassette from various sources.
Recording to USB/SD:
- Insert a USB flash drive or SD card into the respective slot.
- Select the desired source (Turntable, CD, Cassette, AUX, FM).
- Begin playback of the source material.
- Press the REC/DEL button to start recording. The display will indicate recording status.
- Press the REC/DEL button again to stop recording. The recorded file will be saved to the USB drive or SD card.
Recording to Cassette:
- Insert a blank cassette tape into Deck A (Record/Play).
- Select the desired source (Turntable, CD, Cassette Deck B, AUX In, USB, or SD).
- Begin playback of the source material.
- Press the Record button on Deck A to start recording.
- Press the Stop button on Deck A to stop recording.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit:
- Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
- For the turntable stylus, use a soft brush designed for stylus cleaning, brushing gently from back to front.
- For CD lens cleaning, use a specialized CD lens cleaner disc.
- For cassette heads, use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol, cleaning the play/record head and pinch rollers.
Stylus Replacement:
- The turntable stylus (needle) has a limited lifespan. Replace it when you notice a decrease in sound quality or distortion.
