Setup
Connecting to Your TV
The LG DP132H offers flexible connection options to your television:
- HDMI Connection (Recommended for Full HD Upscaling): For the best picture quality, connect an HDMI cable (not included) from the HDMI OUT port on the DVD player to an available HDMI IN port on your TV. Select the corresponding HDMI input on your TV.
- AV (Composite) Connection: If your TV does not have an HDMI port, or if you prefer a standard definition connection, use the included AV cables. Match the colored plugs (Yellow for Video, White for Left Audio, Red for Right Audio) from the DVD player's AV OUT ports to the corresponding AV IN ports on your TV. Select the AV input on your TV.
Power Connection
Connect the power cord from the DVD player to a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions
Disc Playback
- Ensure the DVD player is powered on and connected to your TV.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the player or remote control to open the disc tray.
- Place a DVD or CD disc gently onto the tray with the label side facing up.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray.
- The player will automatically begin playback. If not, press the PLAY button on the remote control.
Supported Disc Formats: The player supports various DVD and CD disc types, including DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-ROM, DVD-RW, Dual Disc (DVD + CD), CD, CD+G, CD-R, and CD-RW.
USB Playback
The LG DP132H features a USB port for playing media files directly from a USB flash drive.
- Insert your USB flash drive into the USB port on the front of the DVD player.
- Use the remote control to navigate to the USB input source.
- Browse your files (videos, music, photos) and select the desired content for playback.

Maintenance
- Cleaning the Player: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the player. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
- Cleaning Discs: Wipe discs from the center outwards with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid touching the playback surface.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the player to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check if the power cord is securely connected to both the player and the electrical outlet.
- No Picture/Sound: Verify that the HDMI or AV cables are correctly connected to both the player and the TV, and that the correct input source is selected on your TV.
- Disc Not Playing: Ensure the disc is clean and free of scratches. Check that the disc is placed correctly in the disc tray with the label side up. Verify the disc format is supported by the player.
- USB Device Not Recognized: Ensure the USB device is properly inserted. Check that the file formats on the USB device are supported by the player.
