Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the flashlight. The Aurora A1 G4 features an upgraded USB-C charging port for faster charging.

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the side of the flashlight.
2. Gently open the protective USB cover.
3. Connect a USB-C cable (not included) to the port and a power source.
4. The indicator light will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, blue for fully charged).
5. Once fully charged (approximately 60 minutes), disconnect the cable and securely close the USB cover to maintain water resistance.

Operating Instructions

The Aurora A1 G4 features multiple lighting modes and a lock function for safe and efficient use.

1. Power On/Off and Mode Selection

• Momentary On: Press and hold the side switch for instant maximum output. Release to turn off.
• Constant On: Rapidly double-click the side switch to turn the flashlight on in the memorized mode.
• Mode Cycle: While the flashlight is on (constant mode), click the side switch to cycle through Moonlight, Low, Medium, and High brightness levels.
• Strobe Mode: Rapidly triple-click the side switch to activate Strobe mode.
• Turn Off: Long press the side switch to turn the flashlight off from any constant mode.

2. Lock Mode

The lock mode prevents accidental activation, conserving battery and preventing overheating in pockets or bags.

• Activate Lock Mode: Rapidly click the side switch five times while the flashlight is off. The front LED will flash twice to confirm activation.
• Deactivate Lock Mode: Rapidly click the side switch five times. The front LED will flash three times to confirm deactivation.
• Instant Unlock (Charging): Connecting the flashlight to a charger will automatically deactivate the lock mode.

3. Charging Indicator

The indicator light around the button provides battery status:

• Red: Battery is low or charging.
• Blue: Battery is fully charged.

Maintenance

• USB-C Port Cover: Ensure the USB-C port cover is always securely closed when not charging to prevent dust and water ingress. The new fixed design offers improved sealing.
• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the flashlight body and lens. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
• Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

Troubleshooting

• Flashlight not turning on:
  • Check if the flashlight is in Lock Mode. Deactivate it by rapidly clicking the side switch five times or by connecting it to a charger.
  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a USB-C charger.
• Charging port cover issues:
  • If the cover is difficult to close or pops open, ensure it is aligned correctly and gently pressed into place. The design is intended for a tight seal.
  • A spare USB-C cover is included in the package.
• Flashlight gets hot on high mode:
  • High brightness modes generate heat. This is normal for powerful LED flashlights. The Aurora A1 G4 will step down to 80 lumens after 1 minute in High or Medium mode to manage heat and conserve battery.
  • Avoid prolonged use on the highest setting if heat is a concern.
