  • Crown: Used for setting time and date.
  • Pushers (A & B): Used for operating the chronograph functions.
  • Bezel: Unidirectional rotating bezel for measuring elapsed time.
  • Hands: Hour, minute, and second hands.
  • Subdials: Chronograph minute, second, and 24-hour indicators.
  • Date Window: Displays the current date.
  • Luminox Light Technology (LLT): Self-powered illumination system for visibility in low light.

Setup and Initial Adjustment

1. Setting the Time

  1. Unscrew the crown (if applicable) and pull it out to position 2 (time setting position).
  2. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands clockwise until the desired time is set. Ensure AM/PM is correctly observed if setting the date.
  3. Push the crown back to position 1 and screw it in tightly to ensure water resistance.

2. Setting the Date

  1. Unscrew the crown (if applicable) and pull it out to position 1 (date setting position).
  2. Rotate the crown counter-clockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the date change mechanism.
  3. Once the date is set, push the crown back to position 0 and screw it in tightly.

3. Chronograph Hand Reset

If the chronograph hands are not aligned to the 12 o'clock position when reset:

  1. Unscrew the crown (if applicable) and pull it out to position 2.
  2. Press pusher A to advance the chronograph second hand.
  3. Press pusher B to advance the chronograph minute hand.
  4. Once all chronograph hands are aligned to 12 o'clock, push the crown back to position 1 and screw it in tightly.

Operating Your Watch

1. Using the Chronograph

  • Start/Stop: Press pusher A to start the chronograph. Press pusher A again to stop it.
  • Reset: After stopping, press pusher B to reset all chronograph hands to zero.

2. Using the Unidirectional Rotating Bezel

The bezel can be used to measure elapsed time up to 60 minutes. Rotate the bezel counter-clockwise to align the zero marker with the minute hand at the start of an event. The minute hand will then indicate the elapsed time against the bezel's scale.

3. Luminox Light Technology (LLT)

Your Luminox watch features a self-powered illumination system that provides constant glow for up to 25 years. This technology ensures visibility in all light conditions without requiring external light exposure or battery power for illumination.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Clean your watch regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For saltwater exposure, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry thoroughly.
  • Water Resistance: The watch is water resistant up to 200 meters (660 feet / 20 ATM). Ensure the crown is always screwed in tightly before any water exposure. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.
  • Battery Replacement: The watch uses 1 CR2 battery. Battery replacement should be performed by an authorized Luminox service center to maintain water resistance and warranty validity.
  • Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures (above 60°C / 140°F or below 0°C / 32°F) or sudden temperature changes.
  • Chemicals: Avoid contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, and cosmetic products, as these can damage the strap, case, or gaskets.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch Not Running: If the watch stops, the battery may need replacement. Contact an authorized service center.
  • Date Not Changing: Ensure the time is set correctly, especially the AM/PM cycle. If the issue persists, consult a service center.
  • Water Inside Watch: If condensation appears under the crystal, immediately contact an authorized service center. This indicates a loss of water resistance.
  • Chronograph Hands Misaligned: Refer to the "Chronograph Hand Reset" section under Setup.

For issues not covered here, please contact Luminox customer support or an authorized service center.
