1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Dilwe Electronic Wristwatch, Model YX001. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your new watch. Designed with a durable stainless steel frame and bracelet, LED backlight, and multiple functions, this watch is perfect for daily wear and various activities.

2. Setup

2.1 Watch Components and Buttons

Familiarize yourself with the watch's buttons and display elements:

• Light Button: Activates the LED backlight.
• Mode Button: Cycles through Time, Alarm, and Chronograph modes.
• Right-Side Buttons: Used for setting adjustments (e.g., changing hour, minute, date, etc.) and converting between 12/24 hour systems.

2.2 Setting Time and Date

1. Press the Mode button repeatedly until the time display starts flashing, indicating it's in setting mode.
2. Use the right-side buttons to adjust the flashing digit (e.g., hour, minute, seconds). One button typically increments, the other moves to the next setting field.
3. Continue pressing the Mode button to cycle through setting the hour, minute, PM/AM (if in 12-hour mode), month, date, and day of the week.
4. Once all settings are correct, press the Mode button again to exit setting mode.

2.3 Adjusting the Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet is adjustable to fit various wrist sizes. If the bracelet is too loose, you may need to remove links. It is recommended to have this done by a professional jeweler to avoid damaging the watch or bracelet. The clasp is designed for easy use and secure fastening.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Time Display and Backlight

In normal time mode, the watch displays the current time, day of the week, and date. To illuminate the display in dark conditions:

• Press the Light button (typically located on the upper left side of the watch).
• The LED backlight will illuminate the display for a few seconds, allowing you to read the time comfortably.

3.2 Alarm Function

To set and use the alarm:

1. Press the Mode button until "ALARM" or an alarm icon appears on the display.
2. While in alarm mode, use the right-side buttons to set the desired alarm time (hour and minute).
3. Press the Mode button to confirm the alarm time.
4. To turn the alarm on or off, press one of the right-side buttons while in alarm mode. An indicator (e.g., "ON" or a bell icon) will show if the alarm is active.

3.3 Chronograph (Stopwatch) Function

To use the stopwatch:

1. Press the Mode button until "CHRONO" or "STOPWATCH" appears on the display.
2. Use the right-side buttons to start, stop, and reset the chronograph. Typically, one button starts/stops, and another resets.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Water Resistance

Your Dilwe Electronic Wristwatch is water-resistant up to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use, such as hand washing, face washing, and light rain. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any activities involving prolonged water immersion or high-pressure water exposure.

Important: Do not operate any buttons while the watch is wet or submerged, as this can compromise the water resistance seal.

4.2 Cleaning and Care

• Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges.
• For the stainless steel bracelet, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
• Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish.
• Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

4.3 Battery Replacement

The watch uses an electronic movement with an IC chip for precise timekeeping and long battery life. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure the water resistance seal is maintained.
