Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Initial Placement

Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid placing it on carpets, rugs, or uneven flooring, as this can affect measurement accuracy.

3. Unit Selection

On the underside of the scale, locate the unit switch (usually marked 'lb/kg'). Slide the switch to select your preferred unit of measurement (pounds or kilograms).

Operating Instructions

1. User Profile Setup (for Body Fat/Hydration Measurement)

The scale can store data for up to 4 users. Setting up a profile allows the scale to calculate body fat and hydration percentages accurately.

  1. Press the 'SELECT' button to choose a user number (P1, P2, P3, or P4). The selected user number will flash.
  2. Press the 'SET' button to confirm the user number.
  3. Use the 'UP' or 'DOWN' arrows to set your age, then press 'SET'.
  4. Use the 'UP' or 'DOWN' arrows to set your height, then press 'SET'.
  5. Use the 'UP' or 'DOWN' arrows to select your gender (male/female icon), then press 'SET'.
  6. The scale will display '0.0' and is ready for measurement.

2. Taking a Measurement

For accurate body fat and hydration readings, ensure your feet are clean and dry, and make direct contact with the stainless steel electrodes on the scale platform.

  1. Gently tap the scale with your foot to turn it on. Wait for '0.0' to appear on the display.
  2. If you have a user profile, press 'SELECT' to choose your user number.
  3. Step onto the scale with bare feet, positioning them on the stainless steel accents. Stand still until your weight is displayed and locked.
  4. If a user profile is selected, the scale will then display your body fat percentage, followed by your body hydration percentage.
  5. The scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds.

3. General Weight Measurement (without Body Fat/Hydration)

If you only wish to measure your weight, simply step onto the scale with or without shoes after it displays '0.0'. No user profile selection is needed for basic weight measurement.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the scale with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.

2. Battery Replacement

If the display shows 'Lo', it indicates low battery power. Replace all 4 AAA batteries simultaneously with new ones, ensuring correct polarity.

3. Storage

Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing it vertically or with heavy objects on top.
