The TR-T1 is a high-performance flashlight featuring a CREE XM-L T6 LED, delivering 1600 lumens of brightness in a single, powerful mode. Its robust design and comprehensive accessory kit make it suitable for various applications.

2. Safety Information

• Eye Safety: Do not look directly into the flashlight beam or shine it into the eyes of others. The high intensity light can cause temporary vision impairment or permanent eye damage.
• Battery Safety: Use only recommended 18650 Lithium-ion batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types. Do not short-circuit, disassemble, or expose batteries to extreme heat or water. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
• Heat: The flashlight head may become hot during prolonged use at high output. Handle with care to avoid burns.
• Water Resistance: The TR-T1 is rain-resistant but not submersible. Do not immerse the flashlight in water. Ensure all seals and caps are properly secured before use in wet conditions.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
2. Insert two 18650 Lithium-ion batteries into the battery compartment with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
3. Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

4.2 Charging Batteries with TR-016 Charger

The TrustFire TR-016 is a dual-channel USB charger compatible with various Lithium-ion battery sizes, including 18650.

1. Connect the TR-016 charger to a USB power source using the provided USB cable.
2. Place the 18650 batteries into the charging slots, ensuring correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative).
3. The charger's indicator lights will show the charging status. Refer to the charger's specific instructions for detailed light indications.
4. Once charging is complete, remove the batteries from the charger.

4.3 Attaching Accessories

• Remote Pressure Switch: Unscrew the standard tail cap and replace it with the remote pressure switch tail cap. Ensure it is securely tightened.
• Color Filters (Red/Green): The filters can be placed over the flashlight head. Gently press them onto the bezel until they are seated firmly.
• Steel Attachment Clip: This clip can be used to mount the flashlight. Secure the flashlight within the clip and then attach the clip to your desired location.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

The TR-T1 flashlight operates with a single mode (high brightness).

• Standard Tail Cap: Press the rear button completely until it clicks to turn the flashlight ON. Press again until it clicks to turn it OFF.
• Remote Pressure Switch: Press and hold the pressure pad to momentarily turn the flashlight ON. Release the pad to turn it OFF. Some remote switches may also have a constant ON/OFF button.

5.2 Using Color Filters

The included red and green glass filters can be used to change the beam color for specific applications, such as hunting or signaling.

• To attach, gently push the desired filter onto the flashlight head until it fits snugly.
• To remove, gently pull the filter off the flashlight head.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a clean, soft cloth. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches.
• Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use. Recharge batteries regularly, even if not fully depleted, to maintain their lifespan. Do not store fully discharged batteries for extended periods.
• O-Rings: Periodically inspect the O-rings for wear and tear. Apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings to maintain water resistance and prevent drying.
• Thread Lubrication: Keep the threads of the tail cap clean and lightly lubricated to ensure smooth operation and proper sealing.

7. Troubleshooting

• Flashlight Not Turning On:
  • Ensure batteries are correctly inserted with the positive (+) end facing the head.
  • Check if batteries are fully charged.
  • Tighten the tail cap and head assembly securely. Loose connections can prevent operation.
  • Clean battery contacts and flashlight contacts with a clean cloth.
• Dim Light Output:
  • Batteries may be low. Recharge or replace them.
  • Ensure the lens is clean and free from obstructions.
• Charger Not Working:
  • Verify the USB cable is properly connected to both the charger and the power source.
  • Ensure batteries are correctly inserted into the charger slots.
  • Try a different USB power adapter or port.
