List of Components

Setup

  1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet before beginning.
  2. Remove the water tank from the main unit by gently pulling it downwards.
  3. Open the water tank cap and fill with distilled or demineralized water up to the 'MAX' line (250 ml capacity). Do not overfill. Using tap water may lead to mineral buildup.
  4. Securely close the water tank cap and reattach the tank to the main unit, ensuring it clicks into place.
  5. Select the appropriate attachment (velvet brush for delicate fabrics, bristle brush for thicker fabrics) and securely attach it to the steam head if needed.
  6. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220 Volts).

Operating Instructions

Steaming Garments

  1. After plugging in, the steamer will begin to heat up. It is ready for use in approximately 30-45 seconds.
  2. Hang the garment on a hanger. For best results, pull the fabric taut with one hand while steaming with the other.
  3. Press and hold the steam button to release continuous steam. Move the steam head slowly over the fabric, from top to bottom.
  4. For stubborn wrinkles, pass the steam head over the area multiple times.
  5. Use the velvet brush for delicate materials like silk or satin. Use the bristle brush for heavier fabrics like wool or denim to help lift fibers and remove lint.
  6. Release the steam button to stop steaming.
  7. After steaming, allow the garment to cool and dry completely before wearing or storing.

Steaming Curtains and Upholstery

  1. Ensure curtains or upholstery are suitable for steam treatment. Test on an inconspicuous area first.
  2. Hold the steamer upright and move the steam head over the fabric, maintaining a slight distance.
  3. Do not over-saturate the fabric.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the steamer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Empty any remaining water from the tank.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  4. Clean the steam head regularly to prevent mineral buildup. Use a cotton swab or small brush to clear steam vents if necessary.

Descaling

To maintain optimal performance and extend the life of your steamer, regular descaling is recommended, especially in areas with hard water.

  1. Mix a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% distilled water.
  2. Pour the solution into the water tank up to the 'MAX' line.
  3. Plug in the steamer and allow it to heat up. Run the steamer until half of the solution has been used, directing steam into a sink or bucket.
  4. Unplug the steamer and let it cool for 30 minutes.
  5. Repeat the steaming process with the remaining solution.
  6. Empty the tank and rinse thoroughly with fresh distilled water. Fill with fresh distilled water and run the steamer until the tank is empty to flush out any remaining vinegar.

Storage

Ensure the steamer is completely cool and dry before storing. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
