3. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to prepare your drone for its first flight:
- Charge the Flight Battery: Connect the flight battery to the USB charging cable. Plug the USB cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The indicator light on the charger will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
- Install Propellers: Carefully attach the propellers to the motor shafts. Ensure that 'A' propellers are installed on 'A' motor shafts and 'B' propellers on 'B' motor shafts. Secure them with the provided screws. Incorrect propeller installation will prevent proper flight.
- Unfold the Drone: Gently pull out each of the drone's four arms until they extend fully and lock into position. Ensure all arms are securely locked before flight.
- Insert Flight Battery: Slide the fully charged flight battery into the battery compartment located on the underside of the drone. Push until it clicks securely into place.
- Download the Control App: Search for the "JJRC H37 Mini" app in your smartphone's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store) and install it.

4. Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the drone's controls and features before flight.
4.1 Power On and Pairing
- Power On Drone: Place the drone on a flat, level surface. Press and hold the power button on the drone until the indicator lights begin to flash.
- Power On Controller: Turn on the G-sensor remote controller. The controller will automatically attempt to pair with the drone. Once paired, the drone's indicator lights will become solid.
- Connect to App (WiFi FPV):
- On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings.
- Connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (e.g., "JJRC_H37_XXXX").
- Open the JJRC H37 Mini control app. You should see the live FPV feed.
4.2 Flight Controls
The drone can be controlled via the G-sensor remote controller or the smartphone app.
- Take Off: Press the one-key take-off button on the controller or in the app. The drone will automatically ascend to a stable altitude.
- G-Sensor Control: When using the G-sensor controller, tilt your smartphone (if using app) or the physical controller to maneuver the drone left, right, forward, or backward.
- App Control: Use the virtual joysticks on the app interface for precise control over ascent/descent, rotation, and directional movement.
- Altitude Hold: The drone features an air pressure altitude hold function, allowing it to maintain a consistent height without constant throttle input.
- Waypoint Flight: Within the app, you can draw a desired flight path on your screen. The drone will then automatically follow this pre-set route.
- Landing: Press the one-key landing button on the controller or in the app. The drone will slowly descend and land automatically.

5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your drone.
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the drone's body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage electronic components.
- Propeller Inspection: Regularly inspect all propellers for any signs of damage, such as cracks, bends, or chips. Replace any damaged propellers immediately using the provided spare parts to ensure stable flight.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not overcharge or over-discharge the batteries. If storing for extended periods, charge them to approximately 50% capacity.
- Storage: When not in use, fold the drone's arms and store it in the provided waterproof storage bag. This protects the drone from dust, moisture, and potential physical damage during transport or storage.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your JJRC H37 Mini Baby Elfie, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Drone does not respond to controls:
- Ensure both the drone and the remote controller are fully charged and powered on.
- Re-pair the controller with the drone by following the pairing instructions in Section 4.1.
- If using app control, verify that your smartphone is correctly connected to the drone's Wi-Fi network.
- Drone drifts during flight:
- Perform a gyroscope calibration. Place the drone on a flat, level surface and follow the calibration procedure outlined in the app or controller instructions.
- Check all propellers for damage. Replace any bent or broken propellers.
- Poor video quality or no FPV feed:
- Ensure a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection between the drone and your smartphone.
- Reduce potential Wi-Fi interference by flying in an open area away from other wireless devices.
- Check the video resolution settings within the control app.
- Short flight time:
- Ensure the flight battery is fully charged before each flight.
- Battery performance may degrade over time. Consider replacing older batteries.
- Check for any obstructions to the propellers or motors that might be causing increased power consumption.
