3.2 How it Works

This creates a consistent temperature bath, cooking food evenly and preventing overcooking. The immersion circulator maintains the set temperature for the duration of your cooking time.

  2. Attach the Cooker: Use the silicon clamp to securely attach the VAVA Sous Vide Cooker to the side of your chosen container. Ensure it is stable.
  3. Fill with Water: Fill the container with water. The water level must be between the MIN and MAX marks indicated on the immersion tube. Do not exceed the MAX line to prevent water from entering the appliance's electrical components.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your VAVA Sous Vide Cooker.

  • Before Cleaning: Always unplug the device from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the cooker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the top part of the unit in water.
  • Immersion Tube Cleaning: For mineral deposits or scale buildup, fill a pot with water and add white vinegar (approximately 1 cup of vinegar per gallon of water). Attach the sous vide cooker and set the temperature to 140°F (60°C) for 30 minutes. This will help dissolve mineral deposits. After the cycle, unplug, let cool, and rinse the immersion tube under running water.
