5. Setup
5.1 Hardware Connection

5.2 Hard Drive Installation (If Not Pre-installed)
Your DE-8Dc2M1TB DVR typically comes with a pre-installed hard drive. If your model does not, or if you need to replace it, follow these general steps:
- Unplug the DVR from power.
- Remove the top cover of the DVR by unscrewing the screws on the rear and sides.
- Mount the hard drive into the designated bay using the provided screws.
- Connect the SATA data and power cables from the DVR to the hard drive.
- Replace the top cover and secure it with screws.

Note: SDI cameras and certain brand cameras (e.g., ZOSI) may not be compatible with this DVR, as indicated in the configuration interface.
6. Operation
6.1 User Interface Navigation
Use the included USB mouse to navigate the DVR's graphical user interface (GUI). Right-click to access the main menu, and left-click to select options.
6.2 Live View

7. Maintenance
7.1 Hard Drive Management
