The JBL GO2 Mini is a full-featured waterproof portable Bluetooth speaker designed to take with you everywhere. Stream music wirelessly via Bluetooth for up to 5 hours of continuous JBL quality sound. Its new IPX7 waterproof design allows music lovers to bring their speaker poolside or to the beach without worry. The GO2 also offers a crystal clear speakerphone experience with its built-in noise-cancelling speakerphone.

Buttons and Indicators:
- Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the speaker on or off.
- Bluetooth Button (Ⓑ): Press to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Volume Down Button (-): Press to decrease the volume.
- Volume Up Button (+): Press to increase the volume.
- Multifunction Button (▶):
- Press once to Play/Pause music.
- Press twice to skip to the next track.
- LED Indicator: Shows power status, charging status, and Bluetooth connection status.
Ports:
- Audio Input (3.5mm): Connect an external audio device using a 3.5mm audio cable.
- Micro USB Port: For charging the speaker.
- Microphone: For hands-free calling.
Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
- Open the waterproof flap on the side of the speaker.
- Connect the Micro USB cable to the speaker's Micro USB port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.
- Once fully charged, disconnect the cable and ensure the waterproof flap is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
2. Powering On/Off
- To power on, press the ⏻ Power Button. The LED indicator will light up.
- To power off, press and hold the ⏻ Power Button until the LED indicator turns off.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Turn on the JBL GO2 speaker. The LED indicator will flash blue, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Select "JBL GO2" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue, and you will hear a confirmation sound.
- If prompted for a password, enter "0000".
The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device is within range and Bluetooth is enabled.
Operating Instructions
Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the ▶ Multifunction Button once.
- Next Track: Press the ▶ Multifunction Button twice quickly.
- Volume Control: Use the + (Volume Up) and - (Volume Down) buttons on the speaker, or control volume from your connected device.
Hands-Free Calling
When connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, the JBL GO2 can be used as a speakerphone.
- Answer Call: Press the ▶ Multifunction Button once.
- End Call: Press the ▶ Multifunction Button once during a call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the ▶ Multifunction Button for 2 seconds.
- Switch Between Calls: If a second call comes in, press the ▶ Multifunction Button once to answer the new call and put the current call on hold. Press again to switch back.
- Reject Second Call: Press and hold the ▶ Multifunction Button for 2 seconds to reject the incoming second call.
Auto Power Off
The JBL GO2 will automatically power off after 15 minutes of inactivity (no audio input or button presses) to conserve battery. To reactivate, press the Power Button.
Maintenance
Waterproof Information (IPX7)
The JBL GO2 is IPX7 waterproof. This means it can be immersed in water up to 1 meter (3 feet) for up to 30 minutes. Ensure the waterproof flap covering the charging port and audio input is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.

Important: Do not charge the speaker if it is wet. Always ensure the ports are completely dry before connecting the charging cable.
Battery Care
- Avoid exposing the speaker to extremely high temperatures, as this can degrade battery performance.
- Store the speaker in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place when not in use for extended periods.
- Repeated charging and discharging, even when done correctly, will gradually shorten the usable time of the battery.
Cleaning
Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
