Setup

Before connecting the pedal, ensure all audio equipment is turned off to prevent damage from sudden signal spikes.

1. Power Connection (Optional): The Micro ABY MKII can operate without a power supply for its basic switching function. However, to illuminate the LED indicator, connect a standard 9V DC power supply (center negative) to the "DC IN" jack at the top of the pedal.
2. Audio Connections:
   • A/B Mode (1 input to 2 outputs): Connect your instrument or audio source to the "Y" jack (located at the top right, next to the DC IN). Connect output A to one destination (e.g., Amplifier 1) and output B to another destination (e.g., Amplifier 2) using the "A" and "B" jacks on the left side.
   • Y Mode (2 inputs to 1 output): Connect your first instrument or audio source to the "A" jack and your second instrument or audio source to the "B" jack. Connect the "Y" jack to your amplifier or next pedal in the signal chain.
3. Mode Selection: Use the small toggle switch labeled "A/B" and "Y(A&B)" to select the desired operating mode.

Operating Instructions

The MOOER Micro ABY MKII offers two primary modes of operation:

1. A/B Mode (1 Input, 2 Selectable Outputs)

In this mode, the signal flows from the Y jack to either the A or B output. This is ideal for switching between two amplifiers or two different signal chains from a single source.

• Switch Position: Set the toggle switch to the "A/B" position.
• Footswitch Function:
  • Press the footswitch once to toggle between output A and output B.
  • The LED indicator will change color to show the active output:
    • Red: Output A is active.
    • Blue: Output B is active.

2. Y Mode (2 Inputs, 1 Selectable Output or Combined Output)

In this mode, the signal flows from either input A or input B to the Y output, or both A and B can be combined into the Y output. This is useful for switching between two instruments into one amplifier, or blending two signals.

• Switch Position: Set the toggle switch to the "Y(A&B)" position.
• Footswitch Function:
  • Press the footswitch repeatedly to cycle through the following states:
    • Input A active (LED Red)
    • Input B active (LED Blue)
    • Inputs A and B active (LED Pink)
  • The LED indicator will change color to show the active input(s):
    • Red: Input A is active.
    • Blue: Input B is active.
    • Pink: Both Input A and Input B are active (combined).

Note: The pedal's core switching functionality is passive and does not require power. The 9V DC power supply is only necessary for the LED indicators to function.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the pedal's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the pedal in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Connections: Periodically check all cable connections for wear and tear. Ensure jacks are free of dust and debris.
