3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the clock from its packaging. Inspect the clock for any signs of damage. Retain the packaging materials for future storage or transport if needed.
3.2 Battery Installation
The LaCrosse 617-3014 Mantel Alarm Clock requires one (1) AA alkaline battery for operation. Batteries are not included.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
- Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding or lifting it off.
- Insert one new AA alkaline battery into the compartment, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.

4. Operating Instructions
