2.2 Battery Requirements

3.1 Keyless Entry with User Codes
The SmartCode touchpad allows you to lock and unlock your door using a personalized 4-8 digit user code. The keypad is backlit for easy visibility in low light conditions.

3.2 Locking and Unlocking
- To Unlock from Exterior: Enter your valid user code on the touchscreen keypad. The deadbolt will retract.
- To Lock from Exterior: Press the Lock button (padlock icon) on the keypad. The deadbolt will extend.
- To Unlock/Lock from Interior: Use the turn button on the interior assembly.
- Key Override: In case of battery depletion or forgotten code, use the physical key provided to unlock the deadbolt.
