3. Setup

Your Primo water dispenser is designed for easy setup without the need for plumbing.

  1. Unpack the Dispenser: Carefully remove all packaging materials.

  3. Install Drip Tray: Insert the removable drip tray into its designated slot at the base of the dispensing area.

  5. Load Water Bottle: Remove the cap from a 3 or 5-gallon Primo water bottle. Carefully lift and invert the bottle, placing it securely onto the top loading reservoir of the dispenser. Ensure the bottle is seated properly to prevent leaks.
  6. Plug In: Plug the dispenser into a grounded 120V AC electrical outlet.
  7. Initial Water Flow: Before turning on heating or cooling, dispense water from both the hot and cold faucets until water flows smoothly. This primes the system and removes any air.

4. Operation

Your Primo water dispenser offers two temperature settings for your convenience.

4.1 Dispensing Cold Water

  1. Place a glass or container under the cold water faucet (typically indicated by a blue lever or button).
  2. Press the cold water lever/button to dispense chilled water.
  3. Release the lever/button to stop the water flow.

4.2 Dispensing Hot Water

CAUTION: Hot water can cause burns. Always use the child safety lock.

  1. Place a heat-resistant cup or container under the hot water faucet (typically indicated by a red lever or button).
  2. To dispense hot water, first push the child safety lock button (usually located above the hot water lever).
  3. While holding the safety lock, press the hot water lever/button to dispense hot water.
  4. Release the lever/button to stop the water flow. The child safety lock will automatically re-engage.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your water dispenser.

5.1 Drip Tray Cleaning

The drip tray is removable and dishwasher-safe for easy cleaning. Empty and clean the drip tray regularly to prevent overflow and bacterial growth.

  3. Wash the drip tray with mild soap and warm water, or place it in the dishwasher.
