5.1 Battery Installation

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Powering On/Off

- Press the HOUR button to adjust the alarm hour.
- Press the AL SET button again, and the alarm minute display will flash.
- Press the MIN button to adjust the alarm minute.
- Press AL SET once more to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.
- To activate or deactivate the alarm, press the AL ON/OFF button. An alarm icon will typically appear on the display when the alarm is active.
6.5 DX.LOCAL Switch
The DX.LOCAL switch helps optimize reception:
- Set to LOCAL for strong, nearby radio stations. This setting helps reduce interference from distant signals.
- Set to DX (Distant) for weaker, far-away radio stations. This setting increases sensitivity to pick up fainter signals.
