Setup
- Initial Power-Up: Plug the timer into a standard 230V electrical outlet. The display will light up. If the display is blank or shows erratic characters, press the RESET button using a pointed object (e.g., a pen tip) to clear all memory and restore default settings.
- Setting Current Time and Day:
- Press and hold the CLOCK button.
- While holding CLOCK, press S- or V- to set the current day (MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU).
- While holding CLOCK, press ON or AUTO to set the current hour.
- While holding CLOCK, press OFF or RND to set the current minute.
- Release the CLOCK button to save the settings.
- 12h/24h Display Mode: To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour display formats, press the CLOCK button and the ON/OFF button simultaneously.
Operating Instructions
The timer allows for up to 20 ON/OFF switching programs per day, totaling 140 programs per week. Programs can be set for individual days, weekdays, weekends, or the entire week.
- Programming ON/OFF Times:
- Press the SET button once to enter program mode. The display will show "1 ON".
- Press S- or V- to select the desired day(s) for this program (e.g., MO, TU, WE, TH, FR, SA, SU, MO-FR, SA-SU, MO-SA, etc.).
- Press ON or AUTO to set the hour for the "ON" time.
- Press OFF or RND to set the minute for the "ON" time.
- Press SET again. The display will show "1 OFF".
- Repeat the day, hour, and minute setting process for the "OFF" time.
- Continue pressing SET to cycle through all 20 ON/OFF programs.
- After setting all desired programs, press the CLOCK button to exit program mode and return to the current time display.
- Manual Override (ON/OFF):
- Press the ON/OFF button repeatedly to cycle through the operating modes:
- ON: The connected appliance is continuously ON.
- AUTO: The connected appliance operates according to the programmed schedule.
- OFF: The connected appliance is continuously OFF.
- For automatic operation, ensure the timer is set to AUTO mode.
- Press the ON/OFF button repeatedly to cycle through the operating modes:
- Countdown Function (C.D.):
- Press the C.D. button. The display will show "CD ON".
- Use ON/AUTO and OFF/RND to set the desired countdown duration (hours and minutes).
- Press C.D. again to start the countdown. The connected appliance will turn ON for the set duration, then turn OFF.
- To cancel the countdown, press C.D. during the countdown.
- Random Function (RND):
- Press the RND button to activate the random function. "RND" will appear on the display.
- In random mode, the timer will randomly turn the connected appliance ON and OFF within a set period (e.g., 30 minutes to 2 hours) around your programmed times, creating an impression of occupancy.
- Press RND again to deactivate the random function.
- Summer/Winter Time Switching:
- Press and hold the CLOCK button and the S- button simultaneously for a few seconds. The display will adjust by one hour forward or backward, and a "SUMMER" or "WINTER" indicator may appear.
- Repeat the process to revert to standard time.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the timer from the power outlet. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: If storing the timer for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Troubleshooting
