Setup
1. Inserting SIM and MicroSD Cards
The Vivo Y53i supports dual nano SIM cards and a separate microSD card for expandable storage. Use the provided SIM ejector tool to open the card tray.
- Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the device.
- Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and press gently until the tray pops out.
- Place your nano SIM cards and microSD card into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts face downwards and the cards are correctly oriented.
- Carefully push the tray back into the phone until it is flush with the device's side.

2. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the device battery. The phone is equipped with a 2500 mAh lithium-ion battery.
- Connect the Micro USB end of the cable to the phone's charging port (located at the bottom).
- Connect the USB end of the cable to the USB power adapter.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- The charging indicator will appear on the screen.
3. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (located on the right side) until the Vivo logo appears.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the power options appear on the screen, then select "Power off".
