Usage Instructions

General Use Instructions:

1. Blockade the area to be cleaned. Surrounding areas without carpet could become wet and slippery.
2. For all methods, vacuum carpet thoroughly and remove debris before applying the cleaner.
3. Cover feet of furniture with plastic or aluminum foil to protect them from moisture.

1. For Dry Foam Cleaning:

1. Fill a foam generator with the use solution of Dry Foam Shampoo & Encapsulation Cleaner diluted at 10 oz. per gallon (80 mL/L) with water.
2. For Light Soils:
   • Adjust foam to setting -2- on the foam generator.
   • Run foam for 10 seconds to allow foam to build up in the brush without spinning.
   • Clean carpets using the foam.
   • Allow carpets to dry for approximately 30 minutes.
   • When the carpet is completely dry, vacuum to remove crystallized soil.
3. For Heavier Soils:
   • Adjust foam to setting -4- on the foam generator.
   • Run foam for 10 seconds to allow foam to build up in the brush without spinning.
   • Clean carpets using the foam.
   • Allow carpets to dry for 35–45 minutes.
   • When the carpet is completely dry, vacuum to remove crystallized soil.

2. For Conventional Shampooing:

1. Brush-up compressed carpet pile in high traffic areas, then vacuum thoroughly to eliminate surface soil.
2. Depending on the soil level, dilute 4–10 oz. of Dry Foam Shampoo & Encapsulation Cleaner per gallon (30–80 mL/L) of water.
3. Shampoo borders and other inaccessible areas by hand with a soft brush.
4. Using an appropriate carpet cleaning machine, treat the carpet evenly.
5. Brush-up the carpet pile while it is still moist.
6. When the carpet is completely dry, vacuum to remove crystallized soil.
7. NOTE: DO NOT SOAK CARPET.

3. For Encapsulation Cleaning:

1. Vacuum carpet thoroughly and remove debris.
2. Dilute the product to an 8% solution, or 1:13 (100 mL per L) with water.
3. Pour the solution into an encapsulation cleaner machine.
4. Operate the machine according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
5. Immediately begin to walk backwards at a slow speed, pulling the machine over the carpet.
6. Overlap slightly with each pass to ensure even coverage.
7. Allow the carpet to dry, then vacuum (vacuuming can be performed at the next scheduled vacuuming).

Care and Storage

Store the product in its original sealed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and incompatible materials. Ensure the cap is tightly closed when not in use. Do not freeze. Keep away from food and drink.
