The Aluratek ABC53F is a versatile Bluetooth 5 audio receiver and transmitter designed to add wireless audio capabilities to your home entertainment system. Controls and Indicators:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off. Short press to play/pause.

Setup

Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge the ABC53F. Connect the included USB charging cable to the DC 5V port on the device and to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

Receiver (RX) Mode Setup

In RX mode, the ABC53F receives Bluetooth audio from your smartphone, tablet, or computer and outputs it to a non-Bluetooth audio system (e.g., home stereo, wired speakers).

  1. Slide the mode switch on the back of the device to RX.
  2. Connect the ABC53F to your audio system using one of the following methods:
    • AUX (3.5mm): Use the 3.5mm audio cable to connect the ABC53F's AUX port to your audio system's AUX input.
    • RCA: Use the RCA to 3.5mm cable to connect the ABC53F's RCA ports to your audio system's RCA inputs.
    • Optical: Use the optical audio cable to connect the ABC53F's SPDIF OUT port to your audio system's optical input.
  3. Power on the ABC53F by pressing and holding the power button. The LED indicator will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  4. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or computer and search for "ABC53F" in the list of available devices. Select it to pair.
  5. Once paired, the LED indicator will turn solid. You can now stream audio wirelessly to your connected audio system.

Transmitter (TX) Mode Setup

In TX mode, the ABC53F transmits audio from a non-Bluetooth device (e.g., TV, computer, MP3 player) to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

  1. Slide the mode switch on the back of the device to TX.
  2. Connect the ABC53F to your audio source device using one of the following methods:
    • AUX (3.5mm): Use the 3.5mm audio cable to connect the ABC53F's AUX port to your audio source's AUX OUT or headphone jack.
    • RCA: Use the RCA to 3.5mm cable to connect the ABC53F's RCA ports to your audio source's RCA audio output.
    • Optical: Use the optical audio cable to connect the ABC53F's SPDIF IN port to your audio source's optical audio output.
  3. Power on the ABC53F by pressing and holding the power button. The LED indicator will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  4. Put your Bluetooth headphones or speakers into pairing mode.
  5. The ABC53F will automatically search for and connect to nearby Bluetooth audio devices. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid.
  6. You can now listen to audio from your source device wirelessly through your Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

Operating

Pairing with Bluetooth Devices

To pair the ABC53F with a new Bluetooth device:

  1. Ensure the ABC53F is in the correct mode (RX for receiving, TX for transmitting).
  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button until the LED indicator flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your other Bluetooth device (smartphone, headphones, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for the ABC53F. Select it to connect.
  4. Once connected, the LED indicator will become solid.

Dual Device Streaming (TX Mode Only)

The ABC53F can stream audio to two Bluetooth headphones simultaneously in Transmitter (TX) mode.

  1. Connect the ABC53F to your audio source and pair it with the first Bluetooth headphone as described in the TX Mode Setup.
  2. Once the first headphone is connected, put the second Bluetooth headphone into pairing mode.
  3. Press the Bluetooth pairing button on the ABC53F again. It will search for and connect to the second headphone.
  4. Both headphones will now receive audio from your source device.

aptX Low Latency

The ABC53F supports aptX Low Latency technology, which significantly reduces audio delay when watching videos or playing games. For optimal performance, ensure your connected Bluetooth headphones or speakers also support aptX Low Latency.

Maintenance

  • Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Refer to qualified service personnel.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

Troubleshooting
