Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new UpStart Components Replacement Remote Control, compatible with Emerson TVs, including models like LC320EM2 and those using the NH000UD remote. This remote is designed to function like the original, offering a seamless replacement experience.

Setup

Your replacement remote control requires no programming. Simply install the batteries, and it will be ready for use with your compatible Emerson TV.

Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide the battery cover downwards or press the latch and lift to open.
3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

Note: Batteries are not included with the remote control. Please use new AAA alkaline batteries for optimal performance.

Operating Instructions

Once batteries are installed, point the remote control directly at your Emerson TV and press the desired buttons. The remote is designed to mimic the functionality of your original remote.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Cleaning

To clean the remote control, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the remote.

Troubleshooting

• Remote not responding:
  • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity (+/-).
  • Replace old batteries with new ones.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the TV's infrared sensor.
  • Make sure you are within the effective operating range and pointing the remote directly at the TV.
• Some buttons not working:
  • This remote is designed to be a direct replacement. If specific buttons do not function, verify that your TV model is compatible with the NH000UD remote series.
  • Clean the remote's surface, especially around the unresponsive buttons, to remove any debris that might be preventing proper contact.
