1. Introduction

These lights are designed for outdoor use, featuring shatterproof bulbs and dimmable functionality, suitable for various outdoor environments.

2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before installation and use. Retain this manual for future reference.

• ETL Certified: This product is ETL certified, ensuring compliance with North American safety standards.
• IP65 Waterproof: The string lights are rated IP65, indicating protection against dust and low-pressure water jets. They are designed to withstand rain, snow, and daily outdoor exposure.
• Power Source: Use only with a 110-volt corded electric power source. Ensure the power outlet is protected by a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) for outdoor use.
• Installation: Do not install the string lights in locations where they may be submerged in water. Ensure all connections are secure before plugging into a power source.
• Bulb Handling: Although bulbs are shatterproof, handle them with care. Do not overtighten bulbs into sockets.
• Overloading: Do not exceed the maximum connectable length of 200 feet (four 50FT strings). Overloading can cause electrical hazards.

4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your addlon Outdoor String Lights:

1. Plan Placement: Determine the desired layout for your string lights. Ensure the total length does not exceed 200 feet if connecting multiple strings.
2. Hang the String: Securely hang the string light strand using appropriate hooks, guide wires, or other mounting hardware (not included). Ensure the sockets are facing downwards to prevent water accumulation.
3. Install Bulbs: Carefully screw each S14 LED bulb into the empty sockets. Hand-tighten until snug; do not overtighten.
4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable 110-volt outdoor GFCI-protected outlet.
5. Connect Multiple Strings (Optional): If connecting multiple strings, ensure the male and female connectors are securely fastened and sealed. The maximum recommended connected length is 200 feet.

5. Operating Instructions

Your addlon Outdoor String Lights come with a remote control for convenient operation.

5.1 Remote Control Functions

• ON/OFF: Press to turn the lights on or off.
• Dimming: Adjust brightness to 25%, 50%, or 100% using the dedicated buttons.
• Lighting Modes: Select from three modes:
  • Steady ON: For continuous illumination.
  • Breath Mode: Lights gently fade in and out.
  • Flash Mode: Lights flash for a dynamic effect.
• Timer Settings: Set the lights to automatically turn off after 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe bulbs and cords with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Bulb Replacement: If a bulb fails, disconnect the power, carefully unscrew the faulty bulb, and replace it with one of the provided spare bulbs or a compatible S14 LED bulb (11W, E26 base).
• Seasonal Storage: If storing the lights for an extended period, clean them thoroughly, coil the string neatly, and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Cable Inspection: Periodically inspect the PVC cable jacket for any signs of wear, cuts, or damage. Replace the string if significant damage is found.
