1. Introduction

The Redcat Racing Piranha TR10 is a completely ready-to-run, 1/10 scale 2WD radio controlled (RC) Truggy. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Piranha TR10 to ensure a fun and durable experience.

Designed for off-road performance, this electric truggy features a rear-wheel drive system, fully adjustable suspension, generous ground clearance, and aggressive off-road tires. 4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Battery

The included 2000mAh NiMH battery pack must be fully charged before first use. Connect the battery to the 1A NiMH battery charger and plug the charger into a suitable power outlet. Refer to the charger's indicator lights for charging status. Charging time may vary.

4.2 Installing Transmitter Batteries

Open the battery compartment on the back of the 2.4GHz radio transmitter. Insert the four (4) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.

4.3 Connecting the Vehicle Battery

Carefully remove the truggy body clips and lift the body to access the chassis. Connect the fully charged NiMH battery pack to the ESC/receiver unit's battery connector. Ensure the connection is firm and secure.

4.4 Powering On

First, turn on the radio transmitter. Then, turn on the power switch on the truggy's ESC/receiver unit. The system should bind automatically. If not, refer to the troubleshooting section or the detailed PDF user guide.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Controls

• Steering Wheel: Turn left or right to control the truggy's direction.
• Throttle Trigger: Pull the trigger to move forward. Push the trigger to engage the brake, and push again for reverse.

5.2 Driving Environment

The Piranha TR10 is designed for off-road use. It performs well on dirt, gravel, and short grass. Avoid driving in deep water, mud, or extremely dusty conditions, despite its waterproof electronics, to prolong component life.
