Introduction

The Hessaire MC37V Mobile Evaporative Cooler is designed to provide efficient and portable cooling for various spaces. Its compact size and robust design make it suitable for homes, patios, workshops, and other areas up to 950 square feet. This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your evaporative cooler to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

The unit achieves superior cooling through expanded air-intake areas to hi-density rigid media, featuring three media panels for more efficient air delivery and higher evaporation efficiency compared to single-panel coolers. The patented axial prop ensures energy-efficient and far-reaching cool air distribution.

Key Features

Setup Instructions

Your Hessaire MC37V cooler is largely pre-assembled for convenience. Follow these steps to prepare it for use:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Ensure all components are present, including the cooler unit, owner's manual, 4 casters (2 locking, 2 non-locking), and a brass garden hose adapter.
  2. Caster Installation: The casters and other assembly components are nested at the bottom of the unit. Install the 4 casters onto the base of the cooler. Ensure the 2 locking wheels are positioned correctly and locked before filling the unit with water and turning on the fan to prevent movement due to air velocity.
  3. Positioning: For effective operation, position your cooler in front of an open window or door. Always ensure there is another open window or door through which the air can exhaust from the room.
  4. Water Fill:
    • Manual Fill: Open the water fill door on the front of the unit and pour water into the 10.3-gallon reservoir using a pitcher or bucket until the water level indicator shows full.
    • Continuous Fill: Attach a standard garden hose to the brass garden hose adapter located on the side of the unit. The float valve will automatically maintain the water level.
  5. Power Connection: Unwind the power cord and plug the cooler into a standard 110-120V electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

The Hessaire MC37V features simple rotary controls for ease of use:

  1. Pump Operation: Turn the pump dial to 'ON' to saturate the internal Xel50 Cooling Media. Allow the pump to run for approximately 10 minutes to fully saturate the pads before turning on the fan. The pump must be primed per instructions prior to use.
  2. Fan Speed Selection: Use the fan dial to select your desired fan speed: 'Low', 'Medium', or 'High'. The unit provides 3,100 CFM of airflow. You can also use the cooler on 'FAN ONLY' mode without water to simply circulate air.
  3. Air Swing Delivery System: Turn the swing switch to 'ON' for automatic oscillation of the louvers, which moves cool air left to right across the room for even distribution. Turn to 'OFF' to fix the airflow direction.
