Safety Information

Setup & Installation

Follow these steps for easy installation:

1. Secure the Main Strand: Carefully untie and secure the main horizontal strand of the curtain lights. This is the continuous line from which the individual light strings hang. Ensure it is firmly fixed in your desired location (e.g., along a curtain rod, wall, or pergola).
2. Unbundle Light Strings Gradually: Once the main strand is secure, carefully untie each individual vertical light string (the drop-downs). It is crucial to do this one by one to prevent tangling.
3. Adjust Spacing: If you prefer a more closely spaced arrangement of light strings, you can use clips or cable ties to adjust the spacing between them along the main strand.

Operating Instructions

Your JMEXSUSS curtain lights come with a remote control for convenient operation. Ensure the remote is aimed at the power plug without obstruction.

Remote Control Functions:

• Power On/Off: Use the dedicated buttons to turn the lights on or off.
• Mode Selection: Cycle through 8 different lighting modes: Combination, In Wave, Sequential, Slo Glo, Chasing/Flash, Slow Fade, Twinkle/Flash, and Steady On.
• Brightness Adjustment: Select from 4 brightness levels: 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25%.
• Timer Function: Activate the timer for 6 hours on and 18 hours off.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the LED strings with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: When not in use, carefully unhook the lights and coil each string individually to prevent tangling. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Power Plug: Always ensure the power plug remains dry. If used outdoors, place it in a waterproof enclosure or a protected area.

Troubleshooting

• Lights Not Turning On:
  • Check if the power adapter is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Ensure the remote control has fresh batteries and is aimed directly at the power plug.
  • Verify that the lights are not in timer mode (6 hours on/18 hours off) if you expect them to be continuously on.
• Remote Control Not Responding:
  • Replace the remote control battery.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the power plug.
  • Confirm the plastic insulation tab has been removed from the remote's battery compartment.
• Lights Tangled:
  • Untangle carefully, one string at a time, starting from the top.
  • For future storage, coil each string individually or use cable ties to keep them separate.
• Lights Not Connecting (Multiple Sets):
  • Please note that multiple sets of these curtain lights cannot be connected together. Each set operates independently.
