3. Setup and First Use
- Unpack: Carefully remove the scale from its packaging. The required 4 AAA batteries are included.
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale and insert the 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

4. Operation
To obtain a weight measurement:
- Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface.
- Gently step onto the center of the scale with bare feet. The scale will automatically turn on.
- Stand still until your weight reading is displayed and stabilizes.
- The scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds of inactivity to save power.

5. Unit Conversion
Your INEVIFIT scale can display weight in both pounds (lbs) and kilograms (kg).
- Turn the scale over to access the back panel.
- Locate the 'kg/lb' button.
- Press this button to toggle between the desired units. The selected unit will be indicated on the display when the scale is active.

6. Important Safety Information and Warnings
- Do Not Use When Wet: To prevent slipping and ensure accurate readings, do not use the scale if your body or feet are wet, or if the scale surface is wet. The tempered glass surface can be very slippery when wet.
- Stable Surface: Always place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Using it on soft surfaces like carpet can lead to inaccurate measurements.
- Avoid Overload: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs (180 kgs).
- Handle with Care: The scale is made of tempered glass. Avoid dropping or subjecting it to strong impacts, which could cause breakage.
