Setup
Charging the Speaker
- Connect the supplied USB charge cable to the DC 5V port on the back of the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate.
- A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.
- The speaker has a built-in rechargeable 400mAh lithium battery, providing 2-3 hours of playback time on a single charge.
Bluetooth Pairing
- Power on the speaker by pressing the power button. A voice prompt will indicate "Bluetooth mode."
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Dosmix HM11" (or similar name) from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, a voice prompt will confirm "Connected."
- The effective Bluetooth range is approximately 10 meters (33 feet).
The compact size of the Dosmix speaker makes it easy to carry and use anywhere.
The speaker offers a wireless range of up to 33 feet, allowing for flexible placement.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
- Press and hold the power button (center button on the front) to turn the speaker on or off.
Playback Control
- Play/Pause: Short press the power button (center button).
- Next Track: Short press the ">>|" button.
- Previous Track: Short press the "|<<" button.
Volume Control
- Rotate the vintage-style dial on the front of the speaker to adjust the volume.
Hands-Free Calling
- When a call comes in, the speaker will play a classic ringtone.
- Short press the power button (center button) to answer an incoming call.
- Short press the power button again to end the call.
- The built-in microphone allows for clear communication.
TF Card / USB Disk Playback
- Insert a TF (microSD) card or USB disk into the corresponding slot on the back of the speaker.
- The speaker will automatically switch to TF card or USB disk mode and begin playing audio files.
AUX Input
- Connect an audio device to the AUX port on the back of the speaker using the supplied AUX cable.
- The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
Connecting to Amazon Alexa
- Via Aux input: Insert an Aux line-in cable into your Amazon Alexa device and then into the speaker's AUX port.
- Via Bluetooth:
- Open the Amazon Alexa App.
- Navigate to
Devices>Echo & Alexa. - Select your Echo Dot (e.g.,
XXX's Echo Dot). - Under the
WIRELESSsection, selectBluetooth Devices. - Choose
PAIR A NEW DEVICEand select the Dosmix speaker.
Maintenance
- Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Keep the speaker away from water and excessive moisture. It is not waterproof.
- Avoid exposing the speaker to extreme temperatures.
- When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place.
- Ensure the protective film on the trumpet (speaker cone) is removed for optimal sound quality.
Troubleshooting
