6. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Rollerhouse motor:

  • Charging: Recharge the motor battery using the provided 8.4V charging adapter. A full charge typically takes 5-6 hours. Depending on usage (e.g., two times per day lift), the battery can last 3-6 months.
  • Cleaning: Spot clean the motor and shade as needed. Avoid submerging the motor in water.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Rollerhouse motor, consider the following:

  • Motor Not Responding: Ensure the motor is charged. Check if the remote control battery is functional. Re-pair the remote with the motor if necessary (refer to Section 5.1).
  • Incorrect Direction: If the shade moves in the opposite direction when pressing up/down, you can reverse the motor direction. Press and hold both the Limit (L) button and the Stop button on the remote simultaneously until the blind jogs, indicating the direction has been reversed.
  • Limits Not Setting: Ensure the motor is fully charged. Perform a limit reset by pressing the C button on the back of the remote 3 times; the motor will jog twice, indicating the previous limits are deleted. Then, re-set the upper and lower limits as described in Section 5.1.
