5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Positioning the Unit

Place the air conditioner on a flat, stable surface, ensuring there is at least 30 cm (12 inches) of space around the unit for proper airflow. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

5.2 Exhaust Hose Installation

1. Attach the exhaust hose to the air outlet on the back of the unit.
2. Extend the exhaust hose and connect it to the window kit adapter.
3. Install the window kit in a suitable window opening, ensuring a tight seal to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.

5.3 Drainage Tube Connection (Dehumidifier Mode)

For continuous dehumidification, connect the drainage tube to the continuous drain port on the unit and direct the other end into a suitable drain or container.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Control Panel and Remote Control

The unit can be operated using the control panel on top of the unit or the provided remote control. The control panel features buttons for Power, Mode, Fan Speed, Timer, and Temperature adjustment.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage. A dirty filter can reduce efficiency and airflow.

1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
2. Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
3. Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.

7.2 Draining Accumulated Water

In cooling mode, water will accumulate in the internal reservoir. When the reservoir is full, the unit will stop operating and display an error code. Drain the water by removing the drain plug and allowing the water to flow into a suitable container. Reinsert the plug firmly after draining.

7.3 Storage
