2. Safety Information

4. Installation
The iRV34 is designed as a direct replacement for Genesis GT-2.0 units, featuring a pin-to-pin connection and identical installation dimensions. This simplifies the upgrade process, often requiring no modification to existing wiring harnesses.
4.1. Dimensions and Fit
The faceplate dimensions are approximately 9-5/8 inches (W) x 8-1/2 inches (H) x 1 inch (D). The mounting hole size required is approximately 7-3/4 inches (W) x 7-1/2 inches (H) x 5 inches (D). These dimensions ensure a precise fit into existing Genesis GT-2.0 openings.

4.2. Wiring Connections
Utilize the provided wiring harness to connect the iRV34 to your vehicle's electrical system and speakers. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly matched according to the wiring diagram. Incorrect wiring can damage the unit or vehicle electronics.

5. Setup
5.1. Initial Power On
After successful installation, press the POWER button on the unit's front panel to turn it on. The LCD display will illuminate.
5.2. Bluetooth Pairing
To connect a Bluetooth device:
- Press the BT button on the front panel or select Bluetooth mode using the MODE button.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "iRV34" from the list of devices.
- Confirm pairing on your device if prompted. Once connected, you can stream audio wirelessly.
5.3. Speaker Zone Configuration
The iRV34 features three independent speaker zones. Zone 3 can be controlled separately and is ideal for outdoor speakers. Use the SPEAKER ZONE buttons (1, 2, 3) on the front panel to activate or deactivate specific zones.
5.4. App Control
A dedicated remote control app is available for free on Android and Apple devices. Search for "iRV Technologies" or "iRV34" in your device's app store. The app allows for wireless control of the stereo functions from your smartphone.

- POWER: Turns the unit on or off.
- MODE: Cycles through available audio sources (AM/FM, CD/DVD, USB, SD, HDMI, Bluetooth, AUX).
- AM/FM: Selects AM or FM radio band.
- EJECT: Ejects a disc from the CD/DVD slot.
- Playback Controls: Skip forward/backward, Play/Pause, Stop.
- VOLUME Knob: Adjusts the master volume level.
- SELECT Knob: Navigates menus and confirms selections.
- MUTE: Mutes or unmutes audio output.
- CLOCK: Displays or sets the time.
- BT: Dedicated button for Bluetooth pairing and mode selection.
- Speaker Zone (1, 2, 3): Activates/deactivates individual speaker zones.
- Numeric Buttons (1-8): Used for direct track selection, radio presets, or other functions depending on the mode.
6.2. Media Playback
- CD/DVD: Insert a disc into the slot. The unit will automatically detect and begin playback.
- USB/SD: Insert a USB drive or SD card into the respective front panel ports. Use the MODE button to select USB or SD source. The unit supports MP3, MP4, and photo files.
- HDMI: Connect external devices (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console) to the HDMI input. Use the MODE button to select HDMI source. The HDMI output with ARC function allows streaming audio from a TV back to the stereo's speakers.
- AM/FM Radio: Press the AM/FM button to switch to radio mode. Use the seek/tune buttons to find stations. Press and hold numeric buttons to save presets.
6.3. Digital 2.1 Surround Sound
