Setup
- Battery Installation (Battery and Charger Sold Separately):
- Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
- Align the battery pack with the base of the drill handle.
- Slide the battery pack into the handle until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove, press the battery release button(s) and slide the battery pack out.
- Installing/Removing Drill Bits or Driver Bits:
- Rotate the chuck collar counter-clockwise until the chuck jaws are open wide enough to insert the bit.
- Insert the drill bit or driver bit fully into the chuck.
- Rotate the chuck collar clockwise to tighten the jaws firmly around the bit. Ensure the bit is centered and secure.
- To remove, rotate the chuck collar counter-clockwise to loosen the jaws and pull the bit out.
Operating Instructions
- Selecting Forward/Reverse Rotation:
- The forward/reverse lever is located above the trigger.
- Push the lever to the left for forward rotation (for drilling and driving screws).
- Push the lever to the right for reverse rotation (for removing screws).
- Center the lever to lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting.
- Adjusting Speed (Gears):
- The two-speed gear selector is located on top of the drill.
- Select '1' for low speed, high torque applications (e.g., driving large screws, drilling large holes).
- Select '2' for high speed, low torque applications (e.g., drilling small holes, fast driving).
- Setting Torque (Clutch):
- The torque adjustment collar is located behind the chuck.
- Rotate the collar to select one of the 18 torque settings. Lower numbers are for smaller screws or softer materials, higher numbers for larger screws or harder materials.
- For drilling, set the collar to the drill icon (maximum torque) to bypass the clutch.
- Operating the Drill:
