Maintenance

Battery Replacement

When the remote's performance degrades or the indicator light does not illuminate, it's time to replace the batteries. Always replace both AAA batteries simultaneously with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

Cleaning

To clean the remote, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents. Avoid getting moisture inside the remote.

Troubleshooting

  • Remote not working after programming: Ensure the device is turned on and you are pointing the remote directly at it. Try another code from the code list for your device's brand.
  • Some buttons not working: This may indicate that the current code is not fully compatible. Try another code from the code list.
  • Indicator light not turning on: Check if the batteries are installed correctly and are not depleted. Replace them if necessary.
  • Remote not controlling Roku Streaming Sticks or Amazon Fire TV/Sticks: This universal remote is not designed for use with radio frequency (RF) devices like Roku Streaming Sticks and Amazon Fire TV/Sticks.
