4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
Each walkie talkie requires 3 x AAA batteries (not included).

- Insert 3 new AAA batteries into each compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off and Demo Mode
Locate the ON/OFF/DEMO switch on the side of the walkie talkie.
- To turn the unit ON, slide the switch to the 'ON' position. The light-up power indicator will illuminate.
- To turn the unit OFF, slide the switch to the 'OFF' position.
- To activate DEMO mode, slide the switch to the 'DEMO' position. This mode showcases the light and sound features.
5.2 Communication
To communicate with another walkie talkie:
- Ensure both walkie talkies are powered ON.
- Press and hold the Push-to-Talk (PTT) button located on the side of the unit.
- Speak clearly into the microphone, which is located near the bottom of the unit's front face.
- Release the PTT button when you have finished speaking. The other unit will then be able to respond.
The walkie talkies are designed to provide static-free sound quality under optimal conditions. The maximum talking range is approximately 500 feet (152 meters) under ideal conditions, which can be affected by terrain, weather, and electromagnetic interference.
