This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your LIBO 7-inch Waterproof Wired Video Doorbell Intercom System. This system includes a 7-inch indoor monitor and an outdoor camera, allowing you to see and communicate with visitors before opening your door. It enhances home security by providing visual and audio verification of visitors.

Product Components and Controls

Indoor Monitor (Model: XSL-V70C)

The indoor monitor features a 7-inch TFT-LCD screen for clear viewing and various control buttons.

  • Power Indicator: Shows the power status.
  • Mute: Mutes the ringtone.
  • Adjust Volume/Ringtone: Adjusts the volume and allows changing the ringtone.
  • Monitor: Activates the camera to view the outdoor area.
  • Unlock: Unlocks an electronic door lock (if connected).
  • Talk: Initiates two-way communication with the outdoor unit.
  • Color LCD: 7-inch display screen.
  • Microphone: For audio communication.
  • Adjust Light Brightness: Knob to control screen brightness.
  • Adjust Intercom Volume: Knob to control intercom audio volume.

Outdoor Camera (Model: XSL-L)

The outdoor camera unit is designed for outdoor use with waterproof and dustproof features.

  • Camera Lens: CMOS camera for video capture.
  • LED Night: 5 infrared LEDs for night vision.
  • Microphone (MIC): For audio input from outside.
  • Speaker: For audio output to outside.
  • Doorbell Button: Activates the indoor monitor and ringtone.
  • Working Indicator Light: Indicates operational status.

Installation Guide

This system uses a 4-wire connection. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the device.

1. Mounting the Units

  • Indoor Monitor: Mount the indoor monitor on a wall using the provided mounting plate and screws. Ensure it is at a convenient height for viewing and operation.
  • Outdoor Camera: The outdoor camera is designed for wall mounting. It comes with a weatherproof cover.

    Position the outdoor unit at a height that allows visitors' faces to be clearly visible. Secure the weatherproof cover and the unit to the wall using the provided screws.

2. Wiring Connection

The system requires a 4-core RVV line for connection between the indoor monitor and the outdoor camera. Connect the wires according to the diagram below. If connecting to an electronic lock, ensure proper wiring for the unlock function.

  • Connect the 4-core cable from the outdoor unit to the corresponding terminals on the indoor monitor.
  • Ensure correct polarity for power (DC15V) and signal lines.
  • If connecting multiple indoor units, use the "Connect to next indoor unit" terminals.
  • Connect the power adapter to the indoor monitor's DC15V power interface.

3. Power On

Once all wiring is complete and secure, plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The indoor monitor should power on, indicated by the power indicator light.

Operation Guide

1. Receiving a Call

  • When a visitor presses the doorbell button on the outdoor unit, the indoor monitor will ring and display the visitor's image.
  • Press the Talk button to initiate two-way communication.
  • To end the conversation, press the Talk button again or wait for the call to automatically end after 30 seconds.

2. Monitoring

  • To view the outdoor area at any time, press the Monitor button on the indoor unit.
  • The monitor will display the live feed from the outdoor camera for 90 seconds.
  • Press the Monitor button again to turn off the display.

3. Unlocking the Door

  • If an electronic lock is connected to the system, press the Unlock button on the indoor monitor to open the door.
  • Ensure the electronic lock is compatible and correctly wired.

4. Adjusting Settings

  • Ringtone Volume and Selection: Use the "Adjust the volume of music & replace the ring tone" button/knob on the indoor monitor to change the ringtone and adjust its volume. There are 25 chord ringtones available.
  • Intercom Volume: Use the "Adjust intercom volume" knob on the side of the indoor monitor.
  • Screen Brightness and Color: Use the "Adjust light brightness" and "Adjust color" knobs on the side of the indoor monitor to optimize the display.
  • Mute: Press the Mute button to silence the ringtone.

5. Night Vision

The outdoor camera is equipped with 5 infrared LEDs, providing clear night vision up to 5 meters, ensuring visibility even in low-light conditions.

Maintenance and Care

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the indoor monitor. For the outdoor unit, a damp cloth can be used to wipe away dirt. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Weather Protection: While the outdoor unit is waterproof (IP54 rated) and designed for various weather conditions (-30°C to 60°C), ensure its rain cover is properly installed to maximize longevity.
  • Cable Inspection: Periodically check all cables for any signs of wear or damage.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your video doorbell system, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
