Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all items listed in the box contents are present: music system, remote control, instruction manual, power cable, and throwing antenna.

2. Power Connection

1. Connect the supplied power cable to the AC IN socket on the rear of the unit.
2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard wall outlet (AC 230V ~ 50Hz).

3. Antenna Connection

Connect the supplied throwing antenna to the FM/DAB antenna input on the rear of the unit. Extend the antenna fully for optimal reception. For improved DAB+ and FM reception, position the antenna away from other electronic devices.

4. Initial Power On

Press the POWER button on the unit or the remote control to turn on the system. The display will illuminate, and the unit will typically start in the last used mode or initiate a DAB+ scan.

Operating Instructions

1. DAB+ / FM Radio Operation

The Karcher DAB 4500CD supports DAB+ and FM radio reception, allowing access to a wide range of digital and analog radio stations.

• Press the SOURCE button to select DAB+ or FM mode.
• In DAB+ mode, the system will automatically scan for available stations upon first use. Use the TUNE +/- buttons to navigate through the station list.
• In FM mode, use the TUNE +/- buttons to manually tune to a frequency or press and hold for automatic scanning.
• To save a station, press and hold the PROG button, then use TUNE +/- to select a preset number, and press PROG again to confirm.

2. CD Player Operation
