Operating the KMINA PRO Walker

Using your KMINA PRO walker is straightforward, designed for maximum independence and safety.

  • Walking with the Rollator:

Push the walker slightly ahead of you, maintaining a comfortable distance. Step forward with one foot, then bring the other foot to meet it. Keep your body upright and centered between the handles. The 360° swivel front wheels allow for easy navigation around corners and obstacles.

  • Using the Brakes:

To slow down or stop, gently squeeze the brake lever. For prolonged stops or when sitting, engage the parking brake by pushing the lever down until it locks. Always ensure the parking brake is engaged when stationary to prevent accidental movement.

  • Carrying Items:

Utilize the basket and tray to transport personal items, meals, or other necessities around your home or outdoors. This feature enhances your independence by allowing you to carry items without compromising stability.

  • Folding for Storage/Transport:

To fold the walker, ensure the parking brake is disengaged. Locate the yellow button or lever (as shown in the setup video) and follow the instructions to collapse the frame. This makes the walker highly compact for storage in small spaces or transport in a vehicle.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your KMINA PRO walker.

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the frame and handles regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners. The fabric basket can be removed and washed as needed.
  • Wheel Inspection: Periodically check the wheels for debris, wear, or damage. Ensure they spin freely and are securely attached.
  • Brake Check: Regularly test the brake system for responsiveness. If the brakes feel loose or ineffective, consult a qualified technician for adjustment or repair.
  • Fasteners: Check all screws, bolts, and other fasteners periodically to ensure they are tight. Do not overtighten.
  • Storage: Store the walker in a dry, clean place away from extreme temperatures. Its folding design makes it easy to store in closets or compact areas.
