Product Overview

The TECKNET Bluetooth Mouse is a versatile wireless mouse designed for comfort and efficiency. It features adjustable DPI settings, multiple buttons, and long battery life, making it suitable for various computing tasks.

Setup and Connection

1. Battery Installation

The mouse requires two AA batteries (not included). To install:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse.
2. Slide the battery cover open.
3. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover securely.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

The TECKNET Bluetooth Mouse connects directly to Bluetooth-enabled devices without a receiver.

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your computer, laptop, or other device.
2. Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch on the underside.
3. Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (usually located near the optical sensor) for a few seconds until the indicator light starts blinking.
4. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
5. Select "BT5.0 Mouse" or "TECKNET Mouse" from the list of available devices to complete pairing.

Operating Instructions

DPI Adjustment

The mouse features 6 adjustable DPI levels (800/1200/1600/2400/3200/4800 DPI) to control cursor speed and precision. Press the DPI button located behind the scroll wheel to cycle through the settings.

Button Functions

• Left Click: Standard selection and interaction.
• Right Click: Opens context menus.
• Scroll Wheel: Scrolls content vertically. Can also be clicked for middle-click functionality.
• DPI Button: Adjusts cursor sensitivity (DPI).
• Side Buttons (Forward/Backward): Navigate web pages or folders (Note: Side buttons may not work for Mac OS devices due to compatibility issues).

Maintenance

Battery Life

The TECKNET Bluetooth Mouse is designed for long battery life, up to 24 months, using two AA batteries. Actual battery life may vary based on usage.

Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean the mouse surface and optical sensor with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or liquids.

Durability

Constructed with skin-friendly, durable materials, the mouse is tested for 10,000,000 clicks to ensure long-lasting usage.

Troubleshooting

Connection Issues

• Mouse not connecting: Ensure Bluetooth is on and the mouse is in pairing mode. Check battery levels. Try restarting your device.
• Intermittent connection: Move the mouse closer to your device. Ensure no other devices are causing interference.

Cursor Movement Issues

• Erratic cursor: Clean the optical sensor. Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (TruWave Technology allows use on various surfaces like resin, wood, paper, cloth, and leather).
• Cursor too fast/slow: Adjust the DPI setting using the DPI button.
