Bluefin SUP Sprint 14' Inflatable Paddle Board Instruction Manual
Brand: Bluefin SUP | Model: Sprint 14'
Introduction
Welcome to the Bluefin SUP Sprint 14' Inflatable Paddle Board manual. This guide provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your new paddle board. Designed for touring and speed, the Sprint 14' offers exceptional stability and performance. Please read through these instructions carefully to ensure safe and enjoyable use of your product.
Setup and Assembly
1. Inflation
Unroll the paddle board on a flat, clean surface. Locate the high-pressure valve. Ensure the valve pin is in the 'up' position for inflation. Connect the double action pump hose to the valve. Begin pumping until the board reaches the recommended pressure of 15 PSI (up to a maximum of 28 PSI for optimal rigidity). The double action pump inflates on both the up and down strokes, speeding up the process.

2. Fin Installation
The Sprint 14' features a Smart Lock Fin system. With the board inflated, slide the 8-inch center fin into the fin box located on the underside of the board. Secure it by pressing down the locking lever until it clicks into place. No tools or small parts are required.
3. Paddle Assembly
Assemble the lightweight fiberglass paddle by connecting the two main shaft pieces. Ensure the adjustable height mechanism is securely fastened after setting the paddle to your preferred length (170-220 cm). The no-flutter polyurethane composite blade is designed for durability and efficient paddling.

Operating Instructions
1. Paddling Techniques
For optimal balance and tracking, stand with your feet parallel and shoulder-width apart over the center of the board. Keep your knees slightly bent and your core engaged. For kneeling, position yourself on your knees in the center of the board, maintaining balance with the paddle.

2. Steering and Maneuvering
The angled nose of the Sprint 14' is designed for efficient wave cutting and straight-line tracking. To steer, apply more pressure on one side of the board with your paddle, or use sweep strokes to turn. The board's length (427 cm) provides excellent glide, making it ideal for covering longer distances efficiently.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning and Drying
After each use, rinse your paddle board with fresh water to remove any salt, sand, or debris. Use a mild soap if necessary. Ensure the board is completely dry before deflating and storing to prevent mold and mildew growth.
2. Storage
Deflate the board by pressing the valve pin down and turning it to lock in the open position. Roll the board tightly from the nose towards the tail, expelling all air. Store the board and accessories in the provided durable travel backpack in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
1. Board Not Holding Air
Check the valve for any debris or loose components. Ensure the valve cap is tightly secured after inflation. Inspect the board's surface for any punctures or damage. Small punctures can often be repaired using the included repair kit.
2. Difficulty Inflating
Verify that the pump hose is securely attached to the valve and that the valve pin is in the 'up' position. If using an electric pump, ensure it is properly connected and powered. Manual inflation may require significant effort to reach higher PSI levels.
