3. Setup and Installation

3.1. Receiver Installation

  1. Plug each receiver into a standard electrical outlet (110 Volts) in your desired location. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible and not obstructed.
  2. The receiver will light up, indicating it is powered on and ready for use.

3.2. Push Button Installation

The push buttons can be installed using either the provided double-sided adhesive tape or screws.

  1. Choose a Location: Select a flat, clean surface near your door. Ensure the location is within the operational range of your receivers (up to 1000 feet in open air, 150 feet with walls).
  2. Adhesive Installation:
    • Clean the mounting surface thoroughly to remove dust and debris.
    • Peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and apply it firmly to the back of the push button.
    • Peel off the other side of the tape and press the push button firmly onto the desired surface for at least 30 seconds.
  3. Screw Installation:
    • Open the push button casing to access the screw holes. Refer to the battery replacement section for opening instructions.
    • Mark the desired screw positions on the wall.
    • Drill pilot holes if necessary, then secure the push button base to the wall using the provided screws.
    • Reattach the front cover of the push button.

3.3. Battery Installation (Push Button)

The push buttons come with pre-installed CR123A batteries. If replacement is needed:

  1. Locate the small notch on the side or bottom of the push button.

  3. Remove the old batteries and insert two new CR123A batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Changing Melodies

Each receiver offers a selection of 60 melodies. To change the melody:

  1. Press the 'Music' button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the available melodies.
  2. Once you hear a melody you like, stop pressing the button. The receiver will save this selection.

4.2. Adjusting Volume

The receiver has 5 adjustable volume levels, ranging from 0dB (silent) to 110dB.

  1. Press the 'Volume' button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the volume levels.
  2. Select the desired volume. The receiver will save this setting.

4.3. Silent Mode with LED Flash

To activate silent mode, cycle the volume down to 0dB. In this mode, the receiver will only flash its LED indicator when the doorbell is pressed, providing a visual alert without sound.

4.4. Distinguishing Front and Rear Doors

The system allows you to assign different tones to each push button, enabling you to distinguish which door a visitor is at.

  1. Select a desired melody on the receiver using the 'Music' button.
  2. Immediately press and hold the 'Volume' button on the receiver for approximately 5 seconds until the receiver flashes rapidly.
  3. While the receiver is flashing, press the specific push button you wish to pair with this melody. The receiver will chime once to confirm successful pairing.
  4. Repeat this process for the second push button, selecting a different melody for it.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

Wipe the doorbell components with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish or internal components.

5.3. Battery Replacement

  4. Repeat for all other receivers.
