5. Setup and Installation

Installation of the iJDMTOY LED License Plate Light Kit is a direct replacement process. No modifications are typically required. Please follow these steps carefully:

1. Access the OEM Housing: Open your vehicle's trunk. Locate the OEM license plate light housing on the trunk liner or rear bumper. These are typically held in place by fastener clips or screws.
2. Remove OEM Housing: Carefully use a plastic pry tool (or a small flathead screwdriver wrapped in tape to prevent scratches) to gently pry out the existing OEM license plate light housing.
3. Disconnect Wiring: Once the housing is loose, disconnect the electrical connector from the incandescent bulb or the entire OEM assembly.
4. Install New LED Assembly: Connect the vehicle's electrical connector to the new iJDMTOY LED license plate light assembly. Ensure the connection is secure.
5. Test Functionality: Before fully securing the new light, turn on your vehicle's lights to verify that the new LED assembly illuminates correctly and that there are no error messages on your dashboard.
6. Secure New Assembly: Carefully clip or screw the new iJDMTOY LED license plate light assembly back into its original position in the trunk liner or rear bumper. Ensure it is flush and secure.
7. Repeat for Second Light: If your vehicle has two license plate lights, repeat the process for the other side.

6. Operating Instructions

The iJDMTOY LED License Plate Light Kit operates automatically with your vehicle's existing lighting system. Once installed, the lights will illuminate whenever your vehicle's license plate lights are activated (e.g., when headlights or parking lights are on).

7. Maintenance

• Lights Not Illuminating:

• Bulb-Out Warning on Dashboard:
