- Do not use without dust bag and/or filters in place.
- Turn off all controls before unplugging.
- Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.

Setup and Assembly
1. Filter Installation
Before operating, ensure the correct filter is installed for your task.
- For Dry Vacuuming: Install the cartridge filter (DXVC4001) and, for fine dust, the disposable dust bag (DXVA25-4040).
- For Wet Vacuuming: Remove the cartridge filter and install the foam filter (DXVA20-1200A).
2. Hose and Accessory Connection
Connect the hose to the vacuum port for suction or the blower port for blowing. Attach desired nozzles or extension wands to the hose.

Operating Instructions
1. Dry Vacuuming
- Ensure the cartridge filter is clean and properly installed. For fine dust, install a disposable dust bag.
- Connect the hose to the vacuum port.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position.
- Guide the nozzle over the dry debris to be collected.
- After use, turn the switch to "OFF" and unplug the unit.
2. Wet Vacuuming
- Remove the cartridge filter and install the foam filter.
- Connect the hose to the vacuum port.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position.
- Guide the nozzle over the liquid spill. The vacuum will automatically shut off when the tank is full.
- After use, turn the switch to "OFF" and unplug the unit. Empty the tank immediately.
3. Blower Function
- Ensure the tank is empty and clean.
- Remove the hose from the vacuum port.
- Insert the hose securely into the blower port located on the top of the unit.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position.
- Direct the airflow to clear debris from surfaces.
- After use, turn the switch to "OFF" and unplug the unit.
Maintenance
1. Emptying the Tank
Regularly empty the tank to maintain optimal performance. For dry debris, unlatch the top and carefully lift it off. For liquids, drain through the drain port if available, or carefully pour out the contents.
2. Filter Cleaning and Replacement
- Cartridge Filter: For dry use, tap off loose dust or rinse with water. Allow to air dry completely before reinstallation. Replace if damaged or suction decreases significantly.
- Foam Filter: For wet use, rinse with water and allow to air dry completely before storage or reinstallation.
- Disposable Dust Bag: Replace when full or when suction is reduced.
3. General Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the vacuum with a damp cloth. Do not use strong detergents or solvents. Ensure all parts are dry before storage.
