Model: E600/B (Note: Outer box may indicate E601 due to manufacturer model number change. Product specifications remain identical.)

1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the DALI E600/B Speaker Stand. This stand is designed to provide optimal support and acoustic performance for your DALI speakers. Please read this manual carefully before assembly and use to ensure proper installation and long-term enjoyment of your product.

2. Safety Information

  • Ensure the stand is placed on a stable, level surface to prevent tipping.
  • Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 18.7 kg per stand.
  • Keep small parts, such as spikes, out of reach of children to prevent choking hazards.
  • Avoid placing the stand in areas with high humidity, direct sunlight, or extreme temperatures.
  • Do not attempt to modify the stand. Unauthorized modifications may compromise safety and void the warranty.

3. Package Contents

The DALI E600/B Speaker Stand package includes the following items:

  • Speaker Stand (2 units)
  • Adhesive Simple Spikes (4 sets, 8 individual spikes)

4. Setup

Follow these steps to assemble and position your DALI E600/B Speaker Stands:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
  2. Spike Installation: The stands come with adhesive simple spikes. These are designed to be attached to the bottom of the stand base for improved stability and vibration isolation. Peel off the protective backing from the spikes and firmly press them onto the designated areas on the bottom of the stand base. Ensure they are evenly distributed.
  3. Placement: Position the assembled speaker stands in your desired listening area. Ensure the floor surface is level and stable. For optimal stereo imaging, place the stands equidistant from your listening position and at an appropriate distance from walls.
  4. Speaker Mounting: Carefully place your compatible DALI speakers onto the top plate of the stands. The top plate dimensions are 147mm (W) x 198mm (D). Ensure the speaker is centered and stable on the top plate. Note: Fixing speakers to the stand with screws is not possible with this model.

5. Operating (Speaker Placement Guidelines)

While the DALI E600/B is a passive stand, proper speaker placement is crucial for optimal audio performance. Consider the following guidelines:

  • Listening Triangle: Position the speakers and your primary listening spot to form an equilateral triangle.
  • Distance from Walls: Experiment with the distance of the speakers from the rear and side walls. This can significantly impact bass response and soundstage.
  • Toe-in: Slightly angle the speakers inward towards the listening position (toe-in) to optimize imaging and soundstage focus.
  • Stability: Always ensure the speakers are securely seated on the stand's top plate and that the stand itself is stable.

6. Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your DALI E600/B Speaker Stands:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the stands with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry immediately.
  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes, as these can damage the powder-coated finish.
  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check the stability of the stands and the condition of the adhesive spikes.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your speaker stands, consider the following:
