Setup and Installation

The T51.1801 locking devices are designed for tool-free attachment to the drawer bottom. They provide the mechanism for securing and releasing the drawer from the runners.

Operation

Once installed, the Blum Tandem Plus BLUMOTION drawer slides provide smooth, full-extension operation with an integrated soft-close mechanism.

1. Side-to-Side Adjustment

This adjustment allows you to align the drawer front horizontally.

Rotate the side-to-side adjustment screw on the locking device (T51.1801) to move the drawer front left or right. Maximum adjustment is 1.5 mm (1/16") to left or right.

2. Height Adjustment

Adjust the drawer front vertically to ensure even gaps.

Press up on the adjustment tab and push towards the back of the drawer to adjust height. Maximum adjustment is 3 mm (1/8") rise of the drawer front.

3. Tilt Adjustment

Correct any forward or backward tilt of the drawer front.

Rotate the tilt adjustment lever on the rear of each runner to lift the back of the drawer and tilt the top of the drawer front forward. Maximum adjustment is 5 mm (3/16") rise of the drawer back.

4. Depth Adjustment

Adjust the depth of the drawer front relative to the cabinet face.

TANDEM 563 runners feature elongated holes that allow for a depth adjustment of ±4.5 mm (3/16"). For locking devices like T51.1901.PS, a screw allows for adjustment up to a +2.5 mm (3/32") out adjustment.

Maintenance

Blum Tandem Plus BLUMOTION drawer slides are designed for long-lasting, maintenance-free operation. However, occasional cleaning can help preserve their smooth function.

• Cleaning: Wipe down the runners and visible components with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
