4. Setup
4.1. Keyboard Stand Assembly (PKBS1)
Follow the instructions provided with the PKBS1 keyboard stand to assemble it securely. Ensure the stand is stable before placing the keyboard on it.

- Connect the PA130 power adapter to the DC IN jack on the rear panel of the keyboard.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Powering On/Off
Press the [POWER] button located on the top left of the control panel to turn the instrument on or off.
5.2. Adjusting Volume
Use the [MASTER VOLUME] knob to adjust the overall output volume of the keyboard.
5.3. Selecting Voices

5.4. Using Accompaniment Styles
Choose from 165 auto accompaniment styles to provide a virtual backing band. Press the [STYLE] button and use the numeric keypad to select a style. Press [SYNC START] to begin the accompaniment when you play a chord, or [START/STOP] for immediate playback.
5.5. Yamaha Education Suite (Y.E.S.) & Touch Tutor
The Yamaha Education Suite (Y.E.S.) offers built-in lessons to help you learn preset songs. The Touch Tutor lesson mode tracks the velocity or strength with which keys are played, teaching dynamic expression. Follow the on-screen prompts and use the [LESSON] buttons to navigate through the lessons.

5.6. Recording Your Performance
The keyboard includes an on-board 2-track recorder. Press the [REC] button to start recording your performance. You can record up to 5 songs with approximately 10,000 notes of data capacity.
5.7. Effects and Arpeggiator
Enhance your sound with various effects like Reverb and Chorus. The Arpeggiator automatically generates arpeggios based on the chords you play, adding dynamic patterns to your music.
5.8. Registration Memory
Save your favorite Voice, Style, and other settings to the Registration Memory for instant recall. This is useful for live performances or quick changes between different musical pieces.
5.9. Melody Suppressor
When using the AUX IN, the Melody Suppressor function can reduce the volume of the melody part of a song, allowing you to play along with the backing track.
